Winner of the 2011 African-American Film Critics Association awards for Best Independent Film and Best Actress for Adepero Oduye, “Pariah” tells the story of Alike (Adepero Oduye), a 17-year-old African American embracing her identity as a lesbian and as a black woman.
The film screening will be followed with a closed discussion that the audience can view with several queer identifying people of different backgrounds moderated by Trey Roberts.
